The VEX2-6454-2C4INE family of low-power x86 embedded controllers is designed to meet PC/104 specification, built on the DM&P Vortex86EX2 SoC running at 600MHz with 1GB DDR3 onboard memory. It offers 2x serial (S), 2x USB (U), VGA, LCD, LVDS, LAN, LPT, and Audio, connected via a 16-bit x-ISA interface for backward compatibility with legacy PC/104 stacks. Optional touch controller support and onboard eMMC/MicroSD socket configurations are available. It operates across a -20~+70°C temperature range, with an extended -40~+85°C option for harsh environments.

The Vortex86EX2 series is the newest member of the ICOP family with compact size and ultra-low power consumption. It packs 16KB write through 4-way L1 cache, 128KB write through/write back 4-way L2 cache, 2.5Ghz PCI-E Bus, DDR3, ROM controller, I²C, SPI, Fast Ethernet, FIFO UART, USB2.0 Host, CAN, and SD/SATA controllers.

400MHzのVortex86EXは、DDR3 RAMとの組み合わせで、おなじみのDXシリーズと同等の計算能力を発揮します。また、消費電力が非常に低いという特徴もあり、データ収集などの比較的単純な用途にも最適です。
